I have a new website. I am changing my site name to blondieblueeyes.com I am really excited. I am currently hosted under my father in laws site and need to get my own site hosting (I think I am using up too much of his space). My current name is about up and thought it would be annoying to make everyone change their links to the new name. Truly I am sorry. I just really like the new name and will post all about it when the new site is up and going. I am excited for the new look too. Thanks Mark and Scott for getting this one up and going I have loved this site.

Teacher Appreciation

That I’m grateful for your hard work in helping me to grow.
For your constant understanding and for always being there,
To tell me I can do it and to show me that you care!
Taft was so EXCITED to give his present to his teacher.
I also included a card that the the kids signed with the little poem.
I loved my kids teachers this year. It was a GREAT year. I LOVE ELLIS Elementary.
The best part of the gift was that is was NOT expensive. I couldn’t afford to spend any more than I did which was a little less than $4.00 each. I have 3 in school and wanted to do a little something for each of their amazing teachers. I know that the best teacher gifts are books but I didn’t plan ahead and look for the books that I love on sale. Next year I won’t leave it to the last second.
I just hope they know how TRULY appreciated they are and that they all have touched my kids lives in a positive way.

I am feeling SO crafty. ALL I wanna do is Craft. It is getting the better of me. I get an idea in my head and there is NO getting it out until the craft is done. I haven’t felt the need to craft so badly ever before. I found a fabric I am 100% obsessed with and sadly there is a VERY slim chance I will get my hands on it. I don’t know why I want it so badly I just DO. (I sound like my 4 year old, oops, he just turned 5). I wish I had far more time and money to spend at the craft store or creating. I love browsing sewing, craft and fabric sites/stores. I love creative crafty people. They are inspirational. It is their fault that I am dying to get my hands on that fabric. I have serious plans for the fabric even with the slightest chance that the fabric will make its way into my hands.
I want to stay home all day making skirts for Estee NOT that she needs more skirts. I just want to try and make some layered, ruffled, pieced, and appliqued skirts, not all in one…..wait a second…….maybe all in one. Who knows how crazy it could get. I just can’t wait to get started.
Well that was a fleeting moment. I am over my craft craziness. I did manage to make a few simple 2 second things.
I know you have seen TONS of pictures of Estee in all her big headbands. They are so easy and cheap to make I don’t know why anyone would buy them.

I have taught Yoga for over a year now. It went so slow at first as my nerves got the better of me. I think I offically own my classes now. My nerves have taken a backseat. I really hope to get more training and teach for many more years to come. This picture isn’t great pose wise but it is all I had. It was taken almost a year ago at the Rec Center.

If you have time and want to read an amazing LOVE story go to thepioneerwoman.com. It is the best site and NOW one of my all time favorite sites to visit. I started reading their love story and couldn’t STOP. She is a fantastic writer with so much thought and emotion poured into her writing. I am dying for the next chapter. She puts life into perspective. She makes you thik about what is really important. I felt even more in love with my Scott after reading her courtship with her Marlboro Man. You have to check out her site she not only writes about herself, her embarrasing moments, the love of her life, her amazing and beautiful family but all her talents. She has great recipes and takes gorgous pictures. She will not only make you smile she will make you cry. I am so glad that Cadence posted about her site. I feel like after such a short time I know so much about her and her life. I truly hope that she continues to write and share her stories and talents with us. It is such a joy to me. I feel the need after reading her posts and seeing her beautiful pictures to simplify my life. Thank you Ree for sharing your LOVE and LIFE with the world.

1. I am a TOTAL CREATURE of HABIT. I drive on the exact same roads everyday, shop at the same stores, order the exact same meal at restaurants every single time, make the same dinners monthly, buy the same items at the grocery store. I don’t try new things often. BORRING I know.
2. I LOVE my UFC!!! I don’t know why. I just plain and simply LOVE IT. I am dying to go to a UFC event live and in person. That would be better than any diamond or even Hawaii but NOT Italy. If only we could get rich by July 5th and celebrate our 10th Anniversary at UFC 86. That would SERIOUSLY be a DREAM COME TRUE!!! Tickets are only $879.00 for decent seats.
3. I am NOT a huge animal fan although I hate seeing animals treated badly. I like to look at them. I think they are beautiful and essential to our lives. If I know the owners I will pet them. I am a scaredy cat. I was trampled on by a horse and bit by a dog so I don’t go by animals that are NOT secured on leashes or behind a TALL fence. I DO love Peppa, Roz, Lucy and Bette (I miss her she was the BEST dog ever). I got home from the store last week and a dog was in our yard. I did the smart thing and called Scott who was in the house and asked him to come outside and scare the dog away before the kids and I got out of the van. We have had 3 stray dogs in our yard in the last week. I NEED a fence.
4. I am a TOTAL GERM FREAK!!! I HATE germs. I LOVE bleach, Lysol wipes and spray, and hand sanitizer. I get worse ALL the time. I carry a bottle of hand sanitizer in my purse and I have an economy size bottle in the van at ALL times. I make the kids put it on anytime I think we are near horrid and dreaded germs. I know that they are everywhere and you can’t kill them all but I will NEVER give up trying.
5. I have a one track mind. It is BAD. I get so stuck on things that it disrupts my sleep and life until I get whatever is on my mind out. I can’t sleep if I need/want something from the store really badly or a holiday is coming and I have a zillion things I want to do or make. It is NUTS I KNOW. It makes Scott Crazy and it makes me crazy. No sleep means tired mean mom.
6. I am SO analytical. It is horrible I am my WORST enemy. I OVER analyze EVERYTHING. I am talking EVERYTHING. I am working really hard on letting things go and NOT analyzing them. I am a perfectionist.
That was HARD that I thought it would be.

Adler’s bubbly personality pouring out.
Estee loves her Adler.HAPPY Birthday ADLER!!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH. Adler is what ALL great brothers are made of he is sweet, funny, loving, gentle, kind, helpful, athletic, creative, entertaining, imaginative, great at video games and skate boarding. He is willing to try new things. He can laugh at his mistakes. He feels for others. Tells funny jokes, loves to tease, and on a few occasions a bully (it is rare though). He is a great helper and will help with a smile more often than not. Last Saturday he went outside and raked up 2 garbage bags full of leaves without being asked. (YES, we still have oodles of leaves everywhere). He has more energy than the rest of us put together.
Adler was the student of the month for the month of March. He didn’t even tell us I found out when I was digging through all of his papers. I found a glowing certificate. We had to celebrate so daddy took the kids out for kids meals (I had yoga). He is a great reader and actually likes to read (serious progress). He reads a chapter book in a few days. He read for an hour straight a few nights ago (all on his own). I am so proud of his progress. I didn’t think I would EVER be able to get him to read a chapter book and now he’s read so many I have lost count. He is a good example for his brothers 95 % of the time the other 5 % he is a true blue boy.

He is a total Monkey.Adler’s favorite food is Lasagna. His favorite colors are blue and black. His favorite holiday is Halloween. His favorite cake is carrot (what kid likes carrot cake?). He LOVES FRUIT and can’t get enough of it. He loves swimming, skateboarding, soccer, art, video games and science.
We LOVE you Adler! You are the BEST!!!

Taft is the sweetest boy. He is so affectionate. He is always full of surprises. He is adventurous and always ready for a laugh. He is so silly and loves telling jokes and teasing. He is sensitive and gets his feelings hurt easily. Taft loves preschool. He loves learning (when I am NOT teaching) he loves seeing his friends. His best buddy is Ty. He is always talking about Ty. Taft loves skateboarding. His assignments come home from school signed Tony not Taft. He wants to be Tony Hawk when he grows up. His favorite color is Yellow and he finally says it correctly. He loves Lasagna. He isn’t a picky eater he will eat anything. He is generally our best eater. His favorite movie is Transformers. His favorite treat is Laffy Taffy the long skinny ones. He loves cards and brochures and will carry them around. I have NO idea what it is about them. He is silly. He loves calling me Korb and loves for me to call him son. He adds so much joy to our lives. I love my sweet Tafty.
